at the top of my lungs in my arms she dies, she dies

2007-11-15 - 9:13 p.m.

Reading: Lost in a Good Book - Jasper Fforde
Listening to: The Ghost of You - My Chemical Romance
Wishing: My feet weren't cold
Sleeps till Chemical Holiday: 13

Blah. Just blah.

I'm feeling weird at the moment. I want to go out. I want to watch a movie. I want to do something. Even though I DID things today.

Okay some good news and some bad news. Good news is that there has been no announcement on the My Chemical Romance webpage announcing Frank's departure - something that's only done if it's long term. Bad news is that NME has stated he left due to an ill relative and no time frame has been placed on his return. *gnashing of teeth*

Todays song:

The Ghost Of You:

From second album, to me it is the saddest on that album and one of their saddest so far. Made even more sad by a brilliant video clip where the band is in WWII and Mikey dies. Really traumatising. Though also equally awesome when the barge they were in started to sink and Frank feared drowning, stating that when his balls got wet that's when he started to worry. Charming, Frank.

What makes this song so awesome... hmm.... Well I love how it's quite mellow then the chorus is really heavy and emotional and then the way the song climaxes. And the lyrics. To a ridiculous and slightly morbid romantic like me, these lyrics evoke strong moments of flailing. There is just something unbelievably appealing for me to hear a guy singing about the death of the girl he loves.

I never said I'd lie and wait forever. If I died, we'd be together. I can't always just forget her, but she could try... At the end of the world or the last thing I see, you are never coming home, never coming home. Could I? Should I? And all the things that you never ever told me and all the smiles that are ever ever... Ever... Get the feeling that you're never all alone and I remember now, at the top of my lungs in my arms she dies, she dies! At the end of the world or the last thing I see, you are never coming home never coming home. Could I? Should I? And all the things that you never ever told me and all the smiles that are ever gonna haunt me. Never coming home, never coming home. Could I? Should I? And all the wounds that are ever gonna scar me, for all the ghosts that are never gonna catch me... If I fall... If I fall... down.
