Watched Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It's utterly fucked up. In the ad breaks they show things people have written in and the program's response. One was a guy saying he is funny and asking for a job. The response: "Yeah you're funny. Funny looking. Now F@$k off." Hahaha. The best part was we ended up sleeping for almost 12 hours. And it's not like we stayed up late. Then on Sunday we saw a friend's band perform; they were pretty good. Got offered little white tablets off the guy and I took them and only afterwards pondered what I had just put in my mouth. Turned out to be a caffiene mint. I'm such a rebel. I have decided that for the next 16 days I will choose 16 My Chemical Romance songs I love and explain their awesomeness, in comemoration of the upcoming tour. Todays Choice: Headfirst for Halos Sixth song off I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love, the band's first album and most rambunctiously crazy and punk. It's a cacophony of percussion and irratic guitar with the most infectious lyrics. One of their more over-the-top songs, it mixes pill popping with peter pan, naturally. This song makes you want.to.jump. Plus who doesn't love to chant 'Think Happy Thoughts' over and over??? Well let's go back to the middle of the day that starts it all. I can't begin to let you know just what I'm feeling. And now the red ones make me fly and the blue ones help me fall and I think I'll blow my brains against the ceiling. And as the fragments of my skull begin to fall, fall on your tongue like pixie dust just think happy thoughts. And we'll fly home, we'll fly home. You and I, we'll fly home. ![]() The hardest part is letting go of your dreams - 2007-11-18
