someone told me not to cry

2007-09-09 - 2:08 p.m.

Reading: Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov
Listening to: Wake Up - Arcade Fire
Wishing: I'd remember to take antibiotics so my sore throat would go away
Sleeps till Caitlin arrives: 21

Just got confirmation that Caitlin from Canada will be in Sydney for three months. Mum said she could stay with us for a few weeks so we'll be picking her up from the airport in three weeks.

*starts cleaning room*

Sigh I am going through one of my apathetic procrastinating phases. Not good. *pokes self*

Enjoying a few hours peace while mum and the relos are taking a literal trip down memory lane. They've left to visit childhood homes, gravesites, etc.

I have dirty nails.

Coincidentally, the movie that inspired my current writing piece is on tv at 3:30.

I love it when I suddenly discover a fantastic song that's been hidden on my itunes for ages.

Something, filled up my heart with nothing. Someone told me not to cry. But now that I’m older, my heart’s colder and I can see that it’s a lie.

sing - scream
