If looks could really kill then my profession would be staring

2007-09-05 - 9:18 p.m.

Reading: Those Faraday Girls - Monica McInerney
Listening to: I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light - Brand New
Wishing: Inspiration would strike

Hmm... where to begin...

As of September 20th, I will officially be a published music journalist!!! Booyah! Granted it's a 250 word profile in a free lesbian magazine, but everyone has to start somewhere. And a byline is a byline!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Reunion of Hell. Mum's having all her [still living] siblings and a bunch of the cousins coming over. One lot arrives tomorrow, then there is the Siblings Only get together on Friday, followed by the full shindig on Saturday.

Naturally I have been secretly smuggling supplies to my room for weeks. No disaster, natural or otherwise, will pry me from my room.

God help me.

Dymocks is going well. Working 19.5 hours there next week. Cha-ching!

Unfortunately, my Narrative Writing teacher has volunteered me for the first Major Piece workshop next Friday. Meaning I have to write a 1500 word narrative and I have NO CLUE what to write yet. It's so pointless cos the Major Piece isn't due until November.

I love this song so much. Just the story behind the lyrics. It's as evocative as a novel.

Maybe I will write a narrative based on the story behind the song... *ponders*

Well I am going to read more McInerney. I might get inspiration.
