Can you see the sky turn red as morning's light breaks over me

Reading: Love Is A Mix Tape - Rob Sheffield
Listening to: Red Sky - Thrice
Wishing: You could be both productive and lethargic at the same time

I have yet another reason to add to the ever growing list of why I Will Not Have Children.

I will worry myself to an early grave.

Yesterday, Tux never came home after mum let him out at 4am. He has never done that before. Tux is quite the mummy's boy and he likes to check in with me once in a while.

At first I wasn't too worried, but as the afternoon wore on into evening and evening into night, I started to completely freak out.

I spent virtually the entire night crying and wailing in bed, positive something had happened to him. I finally fell asleep after 3:30am to be woken at 5:40am by mum calling me to say he's down the drain and won't come out for her. As soon as he saw me he ran straight to me and then instead of eating hopped right in bed with me, cuddling up as close as he could.

Unfortunately, I had to be up 20min later for uni. Shakespeare is hard on less than three hours sleep.

If I can get this stressed over a cat not coming home one night, just think how terrible I would be with a child.

Recently I have grown bored with my ipod playlists. So tonight a made a new one labelled Summer Love Mixtape, which is more than slightly ironic considering it is winter and I am single.

Oh and half the songs aren't really about love. But I think Red Sky sounds fantastic in a playlist with Dusk and Summer, regardless of the fact it's about a sinking boat.

However, I choose to take this song metaphorically and that it actually is about love.

Chuckie, as you are more the Thrice expert than me, forgive me if I am way off here.
