Whose eyes can be so private and so proud

2007-07-03 - 11:53 a.m.

Reading: Kerrang
Listening to: She - Elvis Costello
Wishing: There weren't so magazines i need to buy
Sleeps Until Harry Potter 7: 18

Woah. I have adjusted my computer screen because I was getting serious back pain from sitting here all day. But now it feels too low. I can't win.

They say to have it slightly below eye level, but that means I have to look down to see the bottom of the screen. Dumb. But before it was on this stand, and I had to raise the chair to see, meaning my feet couldn't touch the ground properly resulting in sore back.

I have an amazing talent.

Utterly useless, but still amazing.

Did you know the guy who did the voice for Darth Vader also did the voice for mufasa? I know, I'm shocked too. Anyway, when I saw his name, I thought "oooh that's really familiar. I'm positive he was in the simpsons" *googles* Indeed, he has been in three simpsons episodes, all very minor roles.

And yet I managed to remember his name from the credits of three episodes out of 18 seasons... Scary.

Also, I have an uncanny knack of remembering songs from movies. I heard "She" on the tv last night, and while I couldn't remember the song's name or who it was by, I knew it was in a movie. *googles* Yep, it was in Notting Hill. I can even remember the scene it's used in.

This skill I have is less a memory and more a feeling. Bizarre, amazing and completely useless I know.

I really love this song. I had to download it. Goooorgeous.

She, who always seems so happy in a crowd
Whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one's allowed to see them when they cry
She maybe the love that cannot hope to last
May come to me from shadows in the past
That I remember 'till the day I die

She maybe the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I'm alive
The one I care for through the rough and ready years
